Meet the Artist Behind Habby Mae

Lorrie’s work is rooted in color, texture, movement, and the feeling a space creates when something truly original is placed within it.

Born and raised in LaFollette, Tennessee, Lorrie has been painting since she was eight years old. What began as a lifelong creative outlet eventually evolved into Habby Mae Studio — a growing body of original artwork designed to bring warmth, personality, and visual connection into the spaces people experience every day.

Rather than creating artwork meant to sit untouched in a gallery, Habby Mae Studio focuses on pieces designed to live alongside everyday life — in homes, offices, waiting rooms, creative spaces, and environments where people gather, work, and connect.

Her work ranges from original canvas paintings to large-scale murals and custom commissioned projects, each created with an emphasis on authenticity, emotion, and visual impact.

Today, Lorrie resides in Knoxville, Tennessee with her three children, where she continues to create original artwork for both residential and commercial spaces.

As the studio continues to grow, the focus remains simple: creating artwork that helps spaces feel more human, inviting, and alive.
